These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the Jitronex LPG Smart Monitoring application, associated dashboards, software, services, APIs, device-integration functions and related materials (collectively, the “Service”), provided by Jitronex Technologies Limited (“Jitronex”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account, purchasing or activating a Device ID or authentication code, connecting compatible hardware, placing an order where applicable, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose and Safety
The Service provides LPG monitoring, notifications, historical analytics, usage estimates, gas run-out forecasts and compatible remote-control functions. It is an assistive monitoring system and does not replace certified LPG safety equipment, approved regulators, proper ventilation, periodic inspection, manual shut-off procedures, leak-testing practices, fire-safety requirements or professional advice. Emergency action must never depend solely on internet connectivity, the application, SMS, email, push notifications or a remote server. Compatible hardware should provide appropriate local detection, alarms and fail-safe controls.
Gas level, remaining-time estimates, run-out forecasts, sensor readings and alerts may be affected by calibration, installation, connectivity, power, environmental conditions, cylinder characteristics, sensor tolerances and usage patterns. Forecasts and measurements are estimates and are not guaranteed to be exact.
2. Accounts, Credentials and Authorized Use
You must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, Device IDs, device tokens, authentication codes and other security information, and promptly notify Jitronex of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property Ownership
The Service and its original content and materials—including source code and object code, application architecture, database structures and schema expressions, user-interface layouts and visual designs, dashboards, graphics, text, documentation, firmware, APIs, endpoint organization, workflows, alert logic, forecasting implementations, device-provisioning implementations, software configuration, branding, logos, trade names, product names and other protectable materials—are owned by or licensed to Jitronex Technologies Limited and are protected, as applicable, by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, contract and other intellectual-property laws.

4. Strict Prohibition on Copying, Reverse Engineering and Competitive Misuse
Except where expressly permitted in writing by Jitronex or where a restriction is prohibited by applicable law, you must not, directly or indirectly: copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense or commercially exploit protected portions of the Service; copy or substantially reproduce its protected user-interface expression, documentation, graphics, code, firmware, database expressions or other proprietary materials; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode or attempt to derive source code, non-public protocols, algorithms or trade secrets; circumvent authentication, licensing, provisioning, payment or security controls; scrape or systematically extract non-public application content or data; remove or alter copyright, trademark or proprietary notices; or use confidential or proprietary information obtained through the Service to create, commission, assist, market or operate a competing product or service.
You must not provide access to the Service, screenshots of non-public interfaces, source code, firmware, credentials, technical documentation, confidential workflows or other proprietary materials to another person for the purpose of cloning, reproducing or developing a competing implementation. Unauthorized copying or misuse may result in suspension or termination and may expose the responsible person or entity to remedies available under applicable law.
For clarity, these Terms protect Jitronex's copyrightable expression, software, confidential information, trade secrets, branding and other legally protectable intellectual property. They do not claim exclusive ownership of general ideas, concepts, methods or functionality that applicable law does not protect by copyright.
5. Feedback and Security Research
Do not attempt unauthorized penetration, vulnerability exploitation, interference, denial of service or access to another user's account or device. Good-faith reports of suspected security vulnerabilities should be sent privately to Jitronex rather than exploited or publicly disclosed before Jitronex has a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address them.
6. Devices, Configuration and User Responsibilities
Users must enter accurate cylinder tare weight, rated LPG capacity and other configuration values and must install and maintain compatible hardware appropriately. Users are responsible for ensuring that LPG cylinders, valves, regulators, electrical components and installations comply with applicable safety requirements and are handled by appropriately qualified persons where required.
7. Payments and Digital Credentials
Where the Service offers paid Device IDs, authentication codes or other paid functionality, issuance or activation is subject to successful payment verification and applicable eligibility requirements. Payment processing may be provided by a third-party payment processor. You must not manipulate payment references, callbacks, transaction status, authentication codes or device credentials.
8. Availability, Changes and Third-Party Services
The Service may depend on internet access, hosting providers, payment processors, messaging providers, email services, push-notification services and other third parties. Jitronex may maintain, modify, improve, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
9. Suspension and Termination
Jitronex may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, devices, the Service or Jitronex; respond to suspected fraud, security abuse or intellectual-property misuse; enforce these Terms; or comply with legal obligations. Provisions concerning intellectual property, confidentiality, restrictions, accrued payment obligations, disclaimers and liability survive termination to the extent applicable.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided subject to the limitations described in these Terms. Jitronex is not responsible for losses caused solely by inaccurate user configuration, unsupported or improperly installed hardware, failure to follow LPG safety procedures, third-party outages, unauthorized modifications or use of the Service outside its intended purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any mandatory consumer right.
11. Privacy
Use of the Service is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data and device/service information are handled.
12. Governing Law and Enforcement
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdictional rules that apply. Jitronex reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law in relation to infringement, unauthorized access, misuse of confidential information, breach of these Terms and other unlawful conduct.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, legal requirements or business operations change. The current version will display its effective or last-updated date. Where required by law or appropriate because of a material change, additional notice or renewed acceptance may be requested.
